CAD Pros

At CAD Pros we don't talk about hourly rates.  We feel that we can give you an accurate quote based on the time and effort we feel it would take to complete the job.  Included in the fee is the job you requested plus any corrections we need to make due to mistakes or oversights on our part.  Let's face it.  Mistakes happen.  At least with CAD Pros, you won't pay for them.  Also included in the fee are any minor changes you or your company may make to the design.  Changes that involve a significant amount of time may cause charges to be added.  

Why do we charge this way?  Well for one, it eliminates hour padding or clock watching.  If we quote you $200 and it takes our drafter 20 hours to complete the job, well you still only paid $200.  If you had someone on staff or contracted a company that charges hourly you could have paid anywhere from $300 - $700 based on current rates.  At least you know what you are paying up front.  

Invoices are due within 7-10 business days of drawing submittal.   For larger jobs, payment terms may be extended if agreed upon prior to start of job.

All of our drafters have at least 2 years of experience in drafting and detailing.  Our drafters have a wide range of experience including: mechanical, architectural, shipbuilding, and even inventing (that last one gets tricky with sketches on napkins). 

What we will do: 

• Create 2D AutoCAD drawings according to your drawings and specifications.
• Create 3D AutoCAD models according to your drawings and specifications.
• Accurately dimension, label and detail models and drawings to proper scale.  If you have the model completed and all you need is detailing and dimensioning, we can do that too.
• Create drawing packages complete with title page and or/material list for submittal.
• Clean up/correct drawings you have marked up.
• Any or all of the above.
• Sign a non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement.  We are not in business to steal ideas.
• Communicate with you if there are any questions or problems.
  

What we won't do:

• At this time we can not create 3D models in any programs other than AutoCAD.
• Pad your bill.
